Five Months

I feel like I start every post the same way...but I really can't believe how fast time flies, and that we are almost half way through her first year.  Wow!  Little miss is so much fun...I tell Cody everyday, "This is my favorite stage!"  Although it's tiring, humbling, and frustrating at times, I wouldn't trade this time for anything.  Baileigh really is the light of my life and I just love her more and more each day.

Last weekend we had Baileigh dedicated to the Lord at our church.  Most of our family was able to attend, as well as some friends.  It was such a nice ceremony.  Cody had to stand up and read the verse we chose for her and why we chose it (Ephesians 3:17-19), he was a little nervous but he did a great job.  

The highlight of the day, however, was when Kaitlin surprised us and flew down for the ceremony.  I had no idea!!  I was snapping pictures of Baileigh when my family arrived, I turned towards the door of the building and Kate walked in!!  I had to do a double-take, then, of course, burst into tears!  It was a great surprise!

Baileigh really enjoyed playing with her Aunt Kate.  It was such a great weekend!

And look who is about to sit up on her own!!  I can usually leave her sitting up in front of me, without help, for about 2 seconds until she topples over.  Won't be long 'til she's sitting up like a big girl all by herself!
